Today, weโ€™re going to talk to you about the top five cashback apps that we use each and every month to save us money. All of these apps are easy to download and you can start saving immediately. This article is a complement to Toddโ€™s video where he discusses these apps in more detail. Check out the video below!

Okay, letโ€™s get right into it, starting with number five.

#5 Ibotta

Holding the number five spot is Ibotta. Ibotta lets you score sweet cashback on various things like groceries, clothing, travel, or beer/wine. The app has many different offers from Walmart, Target, Amazon, Instacart, Costco, etc. A great perk of Ibotta is that cashback can be earned from in-store or online purchases, which means you donโ€™t have to switch apps just to save money. Another benefit is that you can link your retailer loyalty cards to your Ibotta account and not have to shuffle through your wallet, finding that one card you used a year ago. Ibotta even has a browser extension for when your shopping online from a desktop computer. This app literally saves you money doing what you already do.

#4 Dosh

Coming in at number four is Dosh. Dosh is similar to Ibotta, but you link your cards in the app and simply make purchases. You wonโ€™t have to upload receipts. Dosh even has great hotel offers for all you travelers out there. Your cashback will add up automatically until you have at least $25 in your account, then youโ€™ll have the option to cash out. Dosh lets you cash out by transferring to your bank, PayPal or Venmo. You can even donate your cashback to charity. Dosh is definitely another cool way to save some serious dough.

3. Rakuten

In number three, we have Rakuten. Rakuten is another app that lets you shop as usual and save money. Rakuten is available on both mobile platforms, and they have a browser extension for shopping online. They even have a credit card that allows you to stack your cashback for some serious gains. Youโ€™ll be able to cash out via check or PayPal, which makes life pretty easy.

2. Groupon

Groupon holds the number two spot on our list. Groupon is a familiar name to a lot of people who enjoy having fun in groups or if you have a car. Groupon has some pretty sweet deals for oil changes and other car maintenance that you generally need anyway. You might as well save money when keeping your car in tip-top shape. The savings donโ€™t stop there. However, Groupon has excellent travel and food deals too. This app is definitely worth a thorough look!

1. Trim

And finally, in the first place spot, we have Trim! Trim helps you gain better control over your spending by negotiating your bills and canceling unwanted subscriptions for you. They can even help you negotiate better credit card rates automatically. Trim has a premium option for $99/year that gives you access to more money-saving features like bill negotiation, debt payoff, and their trim simple savings. This app is great and is well worth the cost!
